Terms of Service
Masharti haya yako kwa Kiingereza. Kwa maswali, tuandikie kwa posta@bsa.ai.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use Posta Salary Advance:
- on WhatsApp at +255 669 097 459;
- on this website, posta.creditsim.bsa.ai;
- in the Posta Salary Advance web app.
The service is provided by Tanzania Posts Corporation ("Posta", "we", "us"). Black Swan operates the platform on Posta's behalf. By using the service you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
2. Who can use the service
You can use Posta Salary Advance if you meet all of these:
- you are employed by Posta;
- you are 18 or older;
- you have a valid NIDA number;
- you use a Tanzanian mobile number registered in your own name.
We confirm eligibility with Posta's HR records, and access must be approved before you can borrow.
3. Your account and PIN
- Keep your PIN secret. We will never ask for your PIN in a chat message, by phone or by email.
- Anything confirmed with your PIN, or with fingerprint or face sign-in on your device, is treated as done by you.
- If you think someone else knows your PIN, send CHANGE PIN or FORGOT PIN on WhatsApp straight away, and tell us at posta@bsa.ai.
4. Salary advances
- Each advance is a separate agreement.
- Before you confirm, we show you the amount you will receive, its cost, the total you will repay and the due date. When you confirm with your PIN, you accept those terms for that advance.
- We decide each request using your HR information, your repayment history and our lending rules, so approval is not guaranteed. The amount you can borrow may go up or down.
- We send approved advances to your mobile money account.
5. Repaying
- You must repay the total shown by the due date shown.
- You can repay before the due date at any time, from WhatsApp or the web app, using mobile money.
- A repayment counts once the payment reaches us, not when you start it. Allow time for your mobile money operator to complete it.
6. Late or missed repayments
If you do not repay in full by the due date:
- we will remind you;
- a late fee may apply, as stated before you confirmed the advance;
- you may not be able to take a new advance until the overdue amount is cleared;
- we may report the overdue amount to licensed credit reference bureaus where the law allows. This can affect your ability to borrow elsewhere.
If you are struggling to repay, contact us early at posta@bsa.ai.
7. Messages and the automated assistant
We send you WhatsApp messages and SMS about your account and advances. Some WhatsApp replies are written by an automated assistant that uses artificial intelligence, and it can make mistakes.
The amounts and dates on your confirmation screen and in your statement are the ones that count. You can ask for a person to help at any time.
8. Using the service fairly
You must not:
- use another person's phone number, identity or account;
- give false information;
- try to access other people's information;
- interfere with the service.
We may suspend or end access where we suspect fraud or misuse.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service available but may pause it for maintenance or security. Advances and repayments also depend on WhatsApp and mobile money operators, so delays on their side can delay your transaction.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time once your advances are repaid. To have your data deleted, see data deletion.
We may end your access if you leave Posta's employment or break these terms. Any amount you still owe remains due.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will tell you on WhatsApp about important changes. An advance you have already confirmed stays under the terms that applied when you confirmed it.
12. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. To make a complaint, write to posta@bsa.ai; we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may take your complaint to the relevant authority in Tanzania.
